Introduction
Overview
This course deals with the history of foreign relations in China from the late Qing Dyansty to the establishment of PRC. It aims at reconstructing the historical narrative of China’s foreign relations by way of overthrowing the stereotyped paradigm of Orientalism or European centered approach, so as to highlight the ontology of Chinese history.
