The MA program in Logic and Philosophy of Science is free, apart from a semester fee of approximately 130 € for each student (including a student services contribution and a basic fee covering public transport in Munich, “Semesterticket”). Comparable MA programs in other countries — especially in the United States and the United Kingdom — typically have very high tuition costs. In Munich, however, students are expected to cover their own living costs including, for instance, expenses for accommodation and health insurance.

TOEFL - Test of English as a Foreign Language: min. 95 out of 120 points (iBT) Cambridge Certificate: you need to pass the Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) EFB (London Chamber of Commerce and Industry): min. level 3 out of 4 levels;Proof of English language proficiency?(IELTS or equivalent) of at least Level C1 (or higher), if your first language is not English. TELC: one of the numerous tests which verifies language level C1. TOEIC: min. 490 out of 495 in the listening and min. 455 out of 495 points in the reading section (945 points in total).
