For the Data Science program, fundamental courses in mathematics and computing may be needed as prerequisites for other courses in the program. Recommended preparatory courses include advanced undergraduate level courses in linear algebra and probability, and introductory courses in stochastic processes, numerical methods and proficiency in programming (Basic usage of the Python and C/C++ programming languages)

Effective March 2021, the GRE Math Subject Test is no longer required. Applicants to the MS and PhD programs are only required to take the GRE General Test.
