For purposes of admission, your most recent score must be at least 90 for the Internet-based test (IBT), and 570 for the paper-based format (PBT).
For Fall 2021, tests taken before June 1, 2019 will not be accepted. Your most recent overall Band score must be at least 7 on a 9-point scale.

Take either the GRE General Test (gre.org) or the TOEFL (toefl.org) depending on your individual situation. See Application FAQs below to determine which test to take. Take tests by early November to ensure the scores arrive in time for the review in mid-December. If you are taking the test outside the U.S. we recommend you take it as early as possible as there may be delays in score reporting. GRE scores must not be more than five years old from our deadline.
